You Can't Resista Dirty Book Review

Superb and explosive ending. Oh my god, it can’t believe I had made it through another epic series by Pepper Winters and once again I am left with a hole to fill in my reading. Always sad when you reach the end of a series like this as you just want more from the characters you have spent so much time falling in love with. My mind is completely blown. Totally in love with the ending to Pim and Elder’s story. Every time I pick up a book by this author I am on tinder hooks, you never know which direction she is going to take a story, and that is what keeps me coming back time and time again.

As this is the epic finale to the Dollar series you will be happy to know that Pepper has left no stone unturned. All those niggling wee questions you had, and the storylines left unfinished will all be answered in the final book.

The journey of these two characters has been long and filled with tragedy and heartache. From Pim’s kidnapping and plight in the hands of Alric, her spiral down the rabbit hole into worthlessness, reaching the end of her rope, only to be plucked from her evil master’s hands and carried away to the sanctuary of the Phantom and Elder’s arms. He is her pillar of strength, she found her way back through her nightmare and into Elder’s loving embrace. No matter how hard it was for Elder, he always put Pim’s needs above his own, giving her the time, space and freedom to open herself to new possibilities, ones she thought were so far out of reach.

In return, Elder’s struggles were internalised to protect Pim from himself and his needs. He pushes the boundaries of his self-control, intensifying his obsessive behaviour and the tricks he employs to curtail his ticks. The fact he would do all this just so Pim can come back into her own is incredibly sweet and forthright, which make Elder the perfect hero.

You will be an emotional mess once you reach the end of this book, I certainly couldn’t hold back the tears. Redemption and retribution are the name of the day in Millions, hold onto your hat this is a chaotic ride.

“… I ran my hands down her back and found the beads of her spine. Pretending they were notes and she was my instrument.”
