Chiah Wilder treats you to the fall of another member of the Insurgents MC.  When these men fall they fall hard and their woman needs to be prepared for all their possessive alpha male caveman tendencies (that they have never expressed before) to be front and centre.

Animal is your typical biker.  All he cares about is his bike, partying it up Insurgent style and the club girls.  But all that changes when his daughter is dropped in his lap and her mother takes off.  Animal has to quickly adapt to being a single dad, and his daughter Lucy does not make it easy for him.  As with all these men all it takes is the right girl to melt their heart. Animal has always loved his daughter.  It was plain to see even if he never got to spend anytime with her in the past. The way he steps up and immediately changes his lifestyle for his little girl completely melted my heart.

Unfortunately for Animal Lucy coming into his life then opens up his heart to other possibilities he never even dreamed of.  

Olivia is finally pulling her life together.  She has just moved into the first home she has ever owned and this is the key turning point.  An unexpected encounter with her incredibly hot new neighbour sends Olivia’s heart into a tale spin and brings forth feelings from her past she could soon forget.  The draw to Animal is unfortunately too strong to ignore.

Something sinister is stalking the streets of Pinewood Springs.  The women in Animal’s life are at risk, and this biker will do anything to protect those he loves.

Excellent story.  Just loved Animal and Olivia.  Can’t wait to read the fall of the next Insurgent!

Darkly Seductive and Deadly Addictive!!

Yes I am totally addicted to Tillie Cole’s new Deadly Virtues series.  Words cannot express how much I am in love with these beautifully damaged, deeply disturbed “Fallen”.  Tillie Cole writes the broken souls so well. Her ability to extract so many different feels and emotions from her readers is a true talent.  This book is a shock inducing page turner that will keep you in suspense right until the last page. If you have read Tillie before then you know the score.  Although I think this book is her darkest to date. It should certainly come with a health warning. When you read this book you will probably need rehab for the book hangover that it leaves you with.  

Raphael, our beautiful resident lust killer.  With the face of an Angel, Raphael has no problem luring his victims into his web of seduction.  For Raphael, sex and death go hand in hand so you can guess how he likes to kill! His M.O, is strangulation.   To feel the euphoria as he is draining life from his victims with his bare hands is his addiction, he craves the hit like a junkie.  But there are rules to “The Fallen’s” existence in the outside world, and Raphael and his brothers must keep their dark desires under control.

This line just sums up the entire book perfectly.  I am super excited to find out whose book will be next in the series.  I would say I am patiently waiting but that is a total and complete lie because I am utterly impatient to get my hands on the next book.  

Father Murray’s eyes locked on the woman again as she was released from the metal cage and brought into her lover’s embrace. The man slammed his mouth against hers and thrust his fingers into her overused pussy. They were dressed in scandalous leather outfits that did little to conceal their bodies. Father Murray’s lip curled in disgust. The man pulled back and made for the bar. His slut’s cheeks were flushed, and her lips were swollen from the claiming kiss. She had red marks littering her body like the witch she was. Bruises and gashes from whips and chains and whatever else the male sinner had used on her flesh.

Flesh that belonged to the Lord, not her. Flesh that she was defiling, making a mockery of.

As Father Murray sipped on his water, he noticed the whore was walking to the bathrooms. His eyes tracked her across the room, then scanned the club for any sign that someone else would follow. But the heathens were too busy fornicating to notice or care. His heart kicked into a sprint; she was alone in the bathroom. He squeezed the bottle of water until it was crushed beneath his grasp.

Father Murray’s skin burned as he watched the door of the bathroom. His muscles tensed so tightly they felt as though they would snap. His eyes misted with red . . . and then he was moving. He let the Lord fill his senses and gave over control.

Do with me what you will. Use me as your vessel to destroy the evil walking this earth.

As quick as a shadow, Father Murray turned the knob of the bathroom door and walked inside. The whore stood in front of the mirror, wiping a cloth along her rancid pussy. She turned her eyes his way. What first seemed like shock at the interruption turned into heated interest.

She smiled when she caught sight of his intense gaze fixed on her. “You like privacy, huh?” she asked, coming to stand before him. “Not into public displays?” She smiled. “You should try it. She stops and turns around when she hears my boots crunching in the gravel behind her. The cold look in her eyes is almost enough to freeze my damn heart. “Don’t you dare follow me, Easton. Turn back around and go inside.” With pained eyes, she points at the building and screams. “GO!”

After yelling at me, she immediately turns back around and starts walking again to get away from me.

Ignoring her demand, I stalk toward her, wrapping my arm around her waist right as she attempts to straddle her motorcycle.

“You’re not driving home,” I say, while squeezing her waist and pulling her against me. “I get that you want fast right now. That you need a rush to clear your head. Trust me, I know you. I’m the one that got you addicted, but you’ve had too much to drink.”

“You don’t need to worry about what I do,” she growls out in anger, before elbowing me in the stomach in an effort to get away. “Dammit! Let me go. I need to leave. I can’t be here.”

She’s still trying to fight me, so I carefully lower her to the gravel and trap her under my body, pinning one of her legs underneath mine. “Give me your keys,” I growl, an inch away from her lips. “Don’t make me force them out of your hand. I can pin you under my body all night if I fucking have to, Kota.”

“Yeah, I don’t think my brother would like that much.” She attempts to buck me off with her hips, but it does nothing.

I smirk down at her and push my hips closer against her body. “Fight me all you want. I’ll win.”

“Fuck you, Easton!” Breathing heavily, she lays still and fights to control her breathing from below me. After a few seconds, her eyes meet mine, and she grins. “Fetch.” She tosses her keys across the parking lot and then pushes my chest, speaking against my lips. “Now. Get. Off.”

I release a hard breath and take a moment to analyze her face. It feels like forever since I’ve seen it.

Her big, gray eyes are framed by long lashes and her dainty, freckled nose is now pierced and flaring out in anger.

Catching me off guard, she pushes her way out from under me and closes her eyes as she runs her hands over her face and lays back. “Just leave me be. I don’t want to be anywhere near you. I’ll have Hope take me home.”

“You really mean that?” I question with a tight jaw. “You still hate me after three damn years?”

“How can I not?” she bites out, before jumping to her feet, ignoring my hand as I reach it out to help her. “You tore my heart out. Now get out of my way.”

I bite my lip, holding in my anger as she pushes past me and disappears inside.

I’m still standing out here with my hands in my hair when she walks back out a few minutes later following Hope to her old, beat-up truck.

My heart pounds relentlessly as I watch them hop inside and drive away.

You tore my heart out.

Those five words hurt like hell. She’s always been good at making me feel.

When You Were Mine is book 2 in the Stone Lake series and the conclusion to Gavin and Luna’s story, and what and epic finale it was!! Completely floored, the book was oh so good, I couldn’t put it down, was hooked until the end.

Jordan Marie I applaud you. The author did not disappoint with this thrilling conclusion.  I was so invested in how Gavin and Luna’s future would work out, especially with the way book one finished and left me totally stunned.  

13 years later.  We pick up with Gavin and Luna after 13 years apart.  How their lives have changed. So many people tried so hard to keep them apart and it worked.  There was no contact for 13 very long, lonely years.
