My Sexy Boss by Chiah Wilder, wow was totally different to the types of books I am used to reading from this author but Chiah has managed to do a fantastic job with this story.
I am a huge fan of her MC Romance novels and have read all of the Insurgents and Nights Rebel MC books, so to get my hands on a steamy contemporary romance with a healthy dose of bad boy of hers, I couldn’t wait to get stuck in.
This book follows the story of Trace and Cierra. She is an advertising executive, with a very unexciting past and love life and he turns out to be her new boss – the CEO of the company. A renowned playboy with a type and she does not fit the mold. There is a special spark that ignites between these two and is apparent every time they are in the same room together.
She has worked and lived in the same area of San Fran for 5 years but now that she has met Mr. Trace Prescott, he is everywhere she goes, she cannot escape him, and really she doesn’t want too.
Trace is a playboy for a reason. He is young, attractive and he knows it. He knows there will come a time to settle down but he is happy to sew his wild oats in between. Until he meets a girl who is not intimidated by his status and is not afraid to put him in his place, this intrigues him. He has never felt the magnetic pull to a woman before that has lasted longer than one night, but the saucy brunette has worked under his skin and is there to stay.
Where there is heat, there is fire and sparks will fly between these two I can guarantee. And what is a Chiah wilder book without a little mystery thrown in for good measure. I swear the minute that you pick this book up you will not want to put it down and hours of your life disappear and you will wonder how the time has passed.

Chiah Wilder is the author of Hawk’s Property, the first book in the Insurgents MC Series. It is a full length, standalone novel. Its release date is set for October 27, 2015.
Always a lover of books, she began writing at a young age and continued through college with collections of short stories. Figuring she had to grow up and get a “real” job, her writing was placed on the back burner.
Her love of reading has always be center front in her life. Chiah’s love of bad boys both in and out of fiction has inspired her Insurgents series. She loves an alpha male whose softer side is brought out by a passionate, spirited woman. In fiction there are no rules or boundaries, and fantasies can go as far as the characters want to take them. Steamy, biker romances with rough, sexy bad boys are her guilty pleasure along with brownies, cheddar cheese, and movie marathons.
Returning to writing has been a dream come true. Writing and publishing Hawk’s Property has been an amazing journey, and she is happy to share the Insurgents family with her readers. She is busy writing her next book in the series.
