WOW! This book seriously gave me the chills. I mean holy crap, I was not expecting that! Poor Brandon, how much suffering can one person take. His mother’s death, followed by the abuse from his father. The only person in the world for him is Jenny, but even he cannot be saved from losing her is some way.
Brandon has no idea of the secret he is carrying around with him. One fateful night he makes a decision, from which the repercussions are vast and cannot be taken back.
This book had me totally gripped. I was a good thing that it was a short read because I don’t think my emotions could have handled much more. This is a story that deals with some very serious issues and charts the destruction of a boy who never really had a chance. It is very poignant and will make you reach for the tissues, but I would definitely recommend it for a read.
