I knew this would be the most explosive book in the Roommate Series and the ladies who are Kennedy Fox did not disappoint! This was an all-time Epic read and I Loved every single minute that I was glued to the pages. I have been there through so many of their couples finding the HEA and I am thrilled that the conclusion to Liam and Maddie’s story has finally arrived. I stumbled upon this amazing writing duet by accident just scrolling through he recommendation on the account and I can safely say the downloading and reading THIS IS WAR (Checkmate Duet) was one of the best decisions I have made. It has opened up so many new stories for me and I cannot wait to see what the ladies have in store for us fans next.
Always Yours was fast paced and jam-packed with suspense, angst and drama from the start. This is a whirlwind romance that will have you enthralled until the very end. The plot twists alone will make you head spin and your heart ache!
Liam is the hard headed, rough, tough bounty hunter and Maddie is the feisty, flexible dancer who has tormented him for four very long years. Their journey to this point has not been easy, in fact Liam made it exceptionally difficult for Maddie to try and penetrate the steel wall he had built around his heart. Sweet and loving were two things Liam thought he could never be. Ever the rebel Maddie is determined to get what she wants. Liam has been the only ‘One’ she could ever imagine letting into her heart and she used every underhanded trick in her book to break through his stubbornness. Getting together was difficult, but staying together may be more dangerous than either of them could imagine.
Liam, it turns out is his own worst enemy. He left it too late to go after what he truly wanted an made an absolute mess of his life in the process. Fighting his feeling for the sassy spitfire was juts delaying the inevitable. When you think things have settled, BAM! You are tossed right back into murky waters.
This book maybe loaded with some extremely heavy suspense but that is equally balanced out by some exceptionally romantic and tender moments that I never though this couple could share.
