Betrayal is rife in Sal’s world and is coming in from some unlikely places. Needing to clean out his house, Sal is determined to get to the root of the problem and those who have crossed him will suffer at his hands.
Sal is lucky to have a man like Deacon at his back. Trust is a hard thing for Sal to give out freely. He has been to easily broken I the past and keeps his guard up at all times. For those around him that love him it is intensely frustrating as all they want to do is get close and help him through his dark times, of which there are many in this book. It is a wonder the man is not a puddle on the floor, this just goes to show his strength of character and determination.
