Written With You is the compelling epic conclusion to the Regret Duet by Aly Martinez. This story completely blew me away. I thought I was in shock and awe when I read Written With Regret but book 2 was simply of the Richter scale. Aly managed to keep me on my toes until the very end. The twists and turns this story takes just didn’t let up. Book 1 finished with a total shocker and this continued right on through chapter 1 in book 2. Then when I thought I had recovered from the initial shock, wham I was hit with another, and they just kept on coming.

These painfully broken and beautiful characters just melted my heart. I loved them in book 1, and reading how their story develops, was just awe inspiring. You just wonder how two people’s lives can be so intertwined in the tapestry of life that even after decade’s fate has always had a plan for them. Star-crossed, I think so.

The main themes of this story are love and loss, overcoming adversity, as well as accepting and seeking forgiveness. It truly is a beautiful complex read that if you start I guarantee you will be hooked. I took a chance on Aly Martinez’s work and I am so thrilled that I did. The Regret duet is a magnificent read (which is now complete so no waiting lol). It is an intensely emotionally charged read that is also super sexy. This is one duet you will never REGRET.
