Oh my Gosh! I am totally in love with Dante Hail. This book and his story wow, just wow. I was so emotional by the end of this book,
tears literal tears in my eyes. The
suffering that Dante went through in the past that is now clouding any hope for
a happy future, just tugs at your heart strings. The love that he has for his daughter Mary is
unparalleled, even if he did fight it at first.
You can feel all the raw emotion and it flows off the page and slaps you
in the face.
Little Mary Hail must be the cutest tiny person in the
world. The way she makes Dante open his
heart again was so sweet. Every time you
read about her you just want to pick her up and give her the biggest
cuddle. When I read this book, I had
just had a new wee baby girl so, she was only 3 weeks old at the time and all I
want to do is snuggle her all day, so I completely related to how everyone
reacted to Mary. One look at her cute
little face and you were mush.
But this book isn’t only just an emotional ride for Dante
coming to terms with his future and hopefully capable of moving on with Cobie,
there is also a sinister presence in the background threatening ruin their
lives. Lani Lynn Vale once again had
delivered and hot shot instalment in the Hail Raisers series, although I must
admit that Dante’s story was the one I was most intrigued by and I was not
disappointed by it, in fact I absolutely loved it. It has everything, love, hate, tension,
suspense, and a cute little girl that melts hearts. If you get the opportunity I would recommend
this series.
