A knock out second chance NA romance with a little twist. I absolutely adored this story. It brought more than a few tears to my eyes towards the end. This book is filled with so much teen angst that it literally jumps off the page. I do have to say that I thought Jenna and Crispin are some of the most mature and well put together teenagers that I have come across because what they went through there is no way I could have handled at 17.
Jenna Monroe and Crispin Wright high school sweethearts, inseparable and head over heels in love. They married in secret at 17 just before his family moved across the country. A few months later and Crispin totally disappears from Jenna’s life, no letters no emails, no calls. To say Jenna is devastated is an understatement.
Fast forward to start of freshman year of college and an unexpected twist has Jenna and Crispin attending the same university. They say that nothing worth having is ever easy and you need to fight for what you want. What Jenna doesn’t realise is Crispin has been fighting demons for far too long.
