BABY YOURS by KENNEDY FOX

Baby Yours: Hunter & Lennon, #2 (Roommate Duet, #2)Baby Yours: Hunter & Lennon, #2 by Kennedy Fox
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Stunning, Heart-Melting, Beautiful!
Hunter and Lennon may have been a slow burner but the chemistry was off the charts and completely insane – how can you ignore that!! At one point I was wondering if I was going to be left reeling, were they ever going to make it happen? Kennedy Fox you were just hell bent on torturing me to the very end!! The suspense; the toing and froing it is sheer torture, but oh so worth it. This book will keep you on your toes.

The feels evoked from this story are intense. You are so invested in the blooming relationship between the characters. Everything about them just draws you in. Their journey is fraught with drama and angst. Insecurities feed decisions. The conflict they feel about acting upon their hearts desires, feeling like it is a betrayal to Brandon’s memory. His loss is still so fresh for both and when you throw in Lennon pregnancy there is just so much at stake for this unsuspecting pair.

Hunter
Sweet, kind, loyal, devoted, loving. Did mention HOT!!
Everything he does is to protect Lennon from further hurt, even at the expense of his own heart. Watching him struggle to keep his feelings hidden while also growing closer to Lennon hurt my heart and had me on the verge of tears.

Lennon
Brave and Fierce! She is determined to provide the brightest future possible for her child. Her struggle to come to terms with Brandon’s death and her increasing feelings for Hunter. Portraying a “fake” marriage for the sake of her old fashioned parents has her even more confused. The fact that both of their actions felt so natural showed them how good they could have it.

Baby Yours was a fantastic read and a thrilling conclusion to this duet. You will love, laugh, cry and live the journey the characters are on. The last few lines of the book completely blew me away and definitely built my anticipation for what is sure to be a knockout in the next duet in the Roommate series.
